Hart: Not an Expense Label Enduring Champion, Premier League It’s hard won
Manchester – Manchester City almost certainly can not retain the Premier League title. City goalkeeper Joe Hart, denied label defending champion has made his burden. According to Hart, the Premier League is harder to win.
City is currently ranked fourth scattered in the standings. The Citizens trailed by 12 points from Chelsea who are in the top position. With the remaining five games they have, the City is almost impossible to become champions this season.
The story of this season is similar to that of the 2012/2013 season. Currently, the City is also the defending champion status and failed to retain the Premier League title because of competition with their neighbors, Manchester United.
According to Hart, the failure of City to retain the title does not mean the team unencumbered title of champion. He considers the Premier League is very competitive so it is not easy for a team to championship two years in a row.
“Not really. It is indeed a difficult league to win. I think the labels do not make this league champions become more difficult or easier,” the Mirror quoted Hart said.
“If we could blame it, it would be an easy way out. We just did not play well in certain moments,” he continued.
“We worked hard, we had meetings, we discuss between us, we talk with the manager. We do everything to clean up,” said the England goalkeeper’s number one.
City lot lately getting a negative result. In the last ten games in all competitions, they only won four and lost six times.
“All the players have performed poorly. I’ve often. We are no longer a boy. We have an experienced squad and we have people who have passed through many moments up and down,” said Hart.
“The good thing with this team is that we do not lack the desire or effort. Sometimes you have a bad game match, that’s football. We felt quite safe in the locker room as each other mutual support,” he said.
