Arsenal Still Losing Alexis Sanchez, Welbeck Can Play
London – Alexis Sanchez is still not able to defend Arsenal to face Tottenham Hotspur. However, Danny Welbeck estimated to be involved in the North London derby.
Sanchez, who has made 18 goals in all competitions since joining from Barcelona in the summer, it is still continuing process of recovery from a hamstring injury.
Chile international players 26 years old that has been absent in the 5-0 victory over Aston Villa last week. But with a goal feast in the game ‘Gunner’ was able to prove still remain sharp without him.
“Currently, Alexis is not ready,” said Wenger on Arsenal’s official website web page.
“He was not much longer (to play), the game against Leicester is a possibility. He has been practicing but still mild exercise,” he added.
Meanwhile Welbeck, who has not played since December 28, has recovered from a thigh injury and Wenger call can be selected when a visit to the headquarters of the Spurs on Saturday (02/07/2015).
“Welbeck has returned to the team. In spite of that we still have the same squad as last week,” said Wenger.
