Coming Moreno, Enrique Ready to Fight His place in Liverpool
Liverpool – Alberto Moreno arrival of Jose Enrique to Liverpool threatened to make a lot of spending time on the bench. Enrique was not afraid and ready to compete with Moreno.
Moreno carried off Liverpool from Sevilla in the summer transfer window for a fee of 12 million pounds. 22-year-old left-back has been performed in the last two games that acted the Reds.
Having made a mistake in the game against Manchester City, Moreno played better as Liverpool hosted Tottenham Hotspur. He even scored one goal and helped his team win 3-0.
If it continues to perform consistently Moreno, Enrique could only be rarely played by manager Brendan Rodgers. However, Enrique claimed to be ready for the position left by Moreno.
Enrique has now been restored after months of knee injury plagued. He came off as a substitute when Liverpool beat Tottenham.
“After so long absent, can re-play feels very nice,” said Enrique told the Liverpool Echo.
“Moreno played very well and scored a stunning goal. For me, the best thing about it is pressing to win the ball back. That is half of the goal. Solved extraordinary,” he continued.
“The most important thing is we are a team. This is a team sport and we all should strive to make this team better. Hopefully we can achieve better results than last season,” said the player who came from Newcastle United in 2011.
“I’ll get a chance. Know that I trust my manager. So, I’m happy about that,” he said.
